TOAST was created by Lindsay Pitt, CSEP. Lindsay has been a prominent figure in the Atlanta event industry for over twelve years. She holds the esteemed Certified Special Events Professional (CSEP) designation, the hallmark of achievement in the special events industry, which she obtained at just 27. She also spent three terms on the Board of Directors on the International Special Events Society and is Regional Director for Wedding Industry Professionals Association. Lindsay holds a Bachelor of Science from Florida State University.

Lindsay began her career in events in 2000, working for a Destination Management Company followed by six years as the Social Director of the prestigious Atlanta Athletic Club. During those years she was frequently asked to moonlight by planning parties, weddings and events for the club members and with that, TOAST was born.

Lindsay has been a featured planner and recurrent guest commentator on Get Married television program on WE TV. She was a contributor for the social pages of John’s Creek Living Magazine and Buckhead Living Magazine and her work has been featured in many bridal publications such as Life and Style, Southern Weddings Magazine, Brides Atlanta, and Special Events Magazine. Lindsay has spent years procuring and working with Atlanta’s most elite and capable vendors, and will bring these valuable partnerships to you when planning your event.  

Hometown: I grew up on Sanibel Island, a little slice of paradise in SW Florida and love doing weddings there {hint, hint}.

When I do my best brainstorming: While I’m blowing my hair dry! Strange, huh? But I stop and run to a pad of paper at least twice a morning.

Favorite Flower: I’m a sucker for fluffy and fragrant blooms, the peony wins every time!

Favorite Color: Kelly Green, I live for St. Patricks day!

When I'm not planning weddings you can find me:  Tailgating in Tallahassee, at the park with my dog Finn or anywhere my suitacse can take me! 

What is it like to work with TOAST? I want this to be an experience for each and every bride! I strive to make the process, fun, memorable, unique and seamless for you so you can focus on the hard stuff like what to register for and what to wear on that honeymoon!

My favorite part of the wedding planning: The tastings! No, not because I get to eat fabulous food. My couples have so much fun that day I can see the wedding really starting to seem real and take shape and that, to me is the most tasty thing!

My favorite part of the wedding day: The big REVEAL! {see below}. I make sure to show my couples the room before anyone else sees it. Seeing the look on both of their faces with sheer delight and a sense of “WE DID IT!” is the reason I do this!
